Hey guys! So I'm just dropping in quickly to let you know about a new LIMITED EDITION skin from Stix! Twee will be available in very limited quantities: 35 copies total! Initially, 10 will be available on the Marketplace, and 20 inworld. Afterwards, only 5 will be available inworld, but for a much higher price. Then she will be retired and never seen again. When you purchase the absolutely gorgeous Twee limited skin, you get it in EVERY SINGLE TONE! Yes, all 19! The pack is currently $L300, and includes the skin with and without brows, regular layers, face appliers for LAQ, Genus, and Omega (body appliers are free, and can be found inworld). Hey guys! So, if you didn't know already, I may or may not have a huge small addiction to mesh heads. I can't help it, they're so pretty. The newest craze on the market is the Genus Project heads, and I tried SO hard to not pick it up....but the baby face variant was just too cute... It's my duty as a blogger to have it....right?? At a cool $L5.5K, the price is nothing to shake a stick at, but it comes with pretty much everything you need, so it runs about half of the price of Catwa (when buying a new catwa head and the animation HUD). You do need to purchase an omega relay, which seems really silly to me for the price of the head itself, but at $L99, it's not too bad. All layers on the Genus head are omega-compatible, so all of your favourite omega skins and makeups should work, but with any omega heads, may not fit the shape perfectly. I grabbed the Saturday Sale (out early!) hair from Astrology (and checked out their moving sale!!!), the bodysuit lingerie from Tentacio, and just went to town playing with my new face.

 I grabbed 6 omega-friendly skins that I thought looked lovely on the head, I tried to be varied, but I do tend to go for skins that have a pretty similar "look" to them, and tend to stick to pale tones in general.

 I feel like I should probably write more but I'm currently quite sick, and this was fun but exhausting. Excuse me while I take a nap <3

Hey guys, it's Valentines Day, so I thought I would put together a look that falls into that theme this year! I make an adorable cherub, don't you think? Starting from the top, the hair I'm using is from Truth, and is the newest group gift! My dress is a new release from Caverna Obscura, and it includes sizes for Maitreya, physique, hourglass, altamura, all 3 belleza bodies, and TMP, but always try a demo! My golden bow (of love!) is a new release from Deadly Nightshade, and is currently out at the The Secret Affair! The bow not only includes a mini bento holding AO, (includes hold, walk, crouch, run, and aim animations) but it's functional as well! There's 3 types of bolts: single shot, triple shot, and death volley; which targets another avatar on sim and rains arrows down on them. How cool, right? On non-damage/non-push sims, the bolts are purely cosmetic. The shoes I'm wearing are actually the newest group gift from Reign! My wings are actually bento wings from lassitude & ennui . Due to internet circumstances, I can only take a gif, not a full video to show off the wings and bow right this moment, so you'll have to trust me that both items are gorgeous.

Hey guys! I noticed that Izzie's has chosen to include BakeOn mesh layers with her new Summer blush set, which is incredibly exciting to me because I feel like BakeOn mesh is absolutely incredible and will totally change our Second Lives. BakeOn mesh, in a nutshell, allows us to use our system layers...on our mesh parts. No, I did not make a typo. You read that correctly. In my photos, I am wearing all system layer items on my Maitreya body, and my LAQ mesh head. BakeOn also allows up to 64 layers of stuff to be worn at the same time...with no/minimal issues. Like tattoos? wear 30 of them! (or don't, because that would look silly). I rushed over to the official SL viewer wiki page to snag a download and check it out (and by rushed, I mean it took all day because my internet was down), I also got the FREE bake on mesh kit from the Omega inworld shop, and then I settled down in a spot on my home sim (since the project is still in beta, you look like a hot mess to anyone else on the grid right now!) and tried on my old system skins and makeup, and just for fun, I pulled out some gorgeous system layer lingerie too!

I chose several of my system skins that fit best on my LAQ Bree head, but honestly, it was tough to narrow it down, because so many I had fit absolutely beautifully. When I was taking photos, I thought I had chosen some variety in my tones...guess I was kinda wrong!

 Makeup layers absolutely perfectly. I didn't get any flickering, or conflicting layers, nothing knocked out another layer, etc! One thing to remember is that you do have to LAYER things, in the order you want them. for example: wear blush, then shadow so the shadow sits on top of the blush layer. Same thing with clothing and tattoos. Wear your tattoos and then the clothing!

Hey guys! I'm finally back with a computer that (I hope) will not smoke/catch fire/critically fail in a month. I finally have my programs set back up (photoshop, blender, etc), just in time for $L50 Friday!! I tell you what, I haven't been so excited to blog in AGES, but since it's been months since I've had a working rig, I guess it makes sense, but I may have taken too many photos... But anyway...

My lingerie, stockings, and the lounger I'm perched on are all FLF items that are currently available today! The lounger from Brocante was an especially fantastic find, since even the ADULT version of it is on sale for $L50! That doesn't happen often, so I just had to snag it up. There's quite a few animations, and it's totally adorable to boot. The absolutely gorgeous lingerie from Mossu comes in sizes for Maitreya (shown), Belleza Freya and Isis, and Slink Hourglass, and the ruffles and lace combo just screams my name. Finally, my thigh highs are from Luxuria! The pack comes with 8 colours (black, white, red, purple, baby pink, and 3 different shades of nude!) and includes not only system layers, but also appliers for Omega, Slink, and Maitreya! That pretty much covers everyone, which is fantastic.

Hey guys! I'm SO excited about this post today! After months and months (years? it feels like eons!) of waiting, the female Belleza bodies finally got an absolutely incredible, HUGE update! For those of you who know me well, or know me inworld, my excitement will come as no surprise; the Belleza bodies are absolutely my favourite bodies on the grid, especially the Freya body! A very dear friend of mine bought me the pack of bodies when they were still sold in an all-in-one pack, and I just fell in love with Freya. Hey guys! So, if you've been following me for more than a minute, you'll notice that my style when it comes to skins is fairly singular. I prefer pale, natural skins with no/minimal makeup. It's my style IRL, and it's what I tend to stick to in SL too. I got Stix' new skin Xuxa  in all of the tones, and the Chocolate tone especially caught my eye. It's not something I would normally wear, but the skintone was just so eye-catching that I knew I had to do a post featuring it.

Hey guys! A little birdie whispered in my ear and told me that TheMeshProject was having one hell of a sale, and man were they right! Right now, both the female and male DELUXE bodies are just $L500 each (NORMALLY $L5K), ditto for each of their deluxe heads. Skins are 50% off and....wait for it.....their ENTIRE boutique of clothing is FREE. I already owned the male and female deluxe bodies, but I picked up a sexy new head for each, and my inventory is WEEPING from the amount of new clothing/shoes/jewelry I've picked up. Also, I've gotta be truthful with ya for a sec...I've coveted the TMP babydoll head since it was released...needless to say I'm over the moon!

What's the catch? TMP has not had updates in a while, their applier system is quite...different. There is no omega support for the bodies or the heads, and none of it is bento. Personally, the shape of their bodies is my absolute favourite, and the ass on the guy body is just incredible. Due to the old price, and the applier system, there's not a whole lot of support for these bodies, but if you're someone who doesn't change skins a whole lot, then this might be a good option for you! The deluxe bodies include several different hands and feet options, changeable from the HUD, and lots of built-in skins, but the HEADS  don't come with any.

I saw a post featuring this outfit over on the FabFree blog [HERE] while I was scrolling through looking for furniture, and had to grab it and show it off too! I've topped it off with a fun hair from Taketomi, which has quickly become my new favourite hair store, a necklace from Cynful, and some shoes from Reign! Hey guys! I'm back with more exclusives from this year's Skin fair! This time around, I'm showing off Alaskametro's exclusive skin, Chi, and one of the sets of lingerie for Whore Couture Fair! Once again, these are event-exclusive items, so you only have a limited time to snatch them up before they disappear! This years skin fair runs until the 26th, and WCF runs until the end of the month, so keep that in mind!


The Chi skin is available for Catwa heads, Lelutka heads, and in a Classic/Omega pack, so no matter what, this skin will fit you! I'm wearing it on the Lelutka Simone bento head. Each pack includes the skin in your desired skintone, with or without eyeliner, and with or without freckles, a set of brows (which are super versatile and gorgeous!), 1 lipgloss, 1 shimmery lipstick, 1 matte lipstick (which, i wear is actually matte, I just haven't figured out how to turn off the materials gloss on my new head yet...oops!) and 1 shimmery eyeshadow. The body appliers are SOLD SEPARATELY, but they're on sale for the fair!


Alaskametro also has a lingerie set out at Whore Couture Fair! The Jolie set comes in 6 colours, and features a really lovely duotone shine with built-in materials (for the applier versions, obviously). The pack includes appliers for Maitreya, Omega, Lolas, and Slink, and also includes the set on system layers as well! This beautiful, mostly sheer set is definitely not for the faint of heart, as it definitely doesn't leave much to the imagination


Finally, I'm wearing nails by Dark Passions! This set is currently out at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair. The "Pastel Tips" set features skintone nails with a pastel metallic french mani! Sets for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink are available, as well as a fatpack of all of them! Each pack features 2 skintones, in 6 metallic tip colours each.
