Hey guys! I'm finally back with a computer that (I hope) will not smoke/catch fire/critically fail in a month. I finally have my programs set back up (photoshop, blender, etc), just in time for $L50 Friday!! I tell you what, I haven't been so excited to blog in AGES, but since it's been months since I've had a working rig, I guess it makes sense, but I may have taken too many photos... But anyway...

My lingerie, stockings, and the lounger I'm perched on are all FLF items that are currently available today! The lounger from Brocante was an especially fantastic find, since even the ADULT version of it is on sale for $L50! That doesn't happen often, so I just had to snag it up. There's quite a few animations, and it's totally adorable to boot. The absolutely gorgeous lingerie from Mossu comes in sizes for Maitreya (shown), Belleza Freya and Isis, and Slink Hourglass, and the ruffles and lace combo just screams my name. Finally, my thigh highs are from Luxuria! The pack comes with 8 colours (black, white, red, purple, baby pink, and 3 different shades of nude!) and includes not only system layers, but also appliers for Omega, Slink, and Maitreya! That pretty much covers everyone, which is fantastic.

Phwoo! That title was surely a mouthful!

I put together this sexy look with pieces found in this week's round of FLF!

I grabbed deals from: Dead Dollz, Wasabi Pills, and Maxi Gossamer this week and put together a look that really turns heads!

This lace overlay dress is the FLF offering from Dead Dollz. It comes in a gorgeous shade of deep and muted purple, is maitreya-only, and includes both the dress you see above, and one that is a little bit less modest (and also includes a pair of panties for... just a touch of mystery?)

Check out this necklace from Maxi Gossamer for FLF! The necklace itself comes in 3 versions (one long two short) and can be switched to either gold or silver, and the beads can be changed to any of the 8 different bead colours. The hair I have on above is another FLF find, this time from Wasabi Pills! The Mackenzie hair comes in one exclusive colour pack for today only, and includes a regular and BOOBS version, for ladies with bountiful bosoms!

My kickass vintage-inspired nails are from Dark Passions, and are currently available at the Vintage Fair, which just opened today!  I adore all things sparrows, so the sparrow tattoo design is right up my alley!

I'm wearing the ones that I've made a red box around above. Appliers are available for Slink, Maitreya, and Omega and can either be purchased separately for $L100, or you can grab the fatpack for $L275!

My soft and beautiful skin is the bare version of Lumae's Eirtae line. I cannot say enough good things about this skin, and it's perfect to add makeup to! I've embellished it slightly with one of the Juliet shadow/liner combos from Nova, but left the rest alone

 

Normally Friday is my favourite day of the week... but today has just been terrible so far. I woke up this morning to a call from a friend who lives in the house behind mine that someone had thrown a rock through my back windshield... after several hours of dealing with police, insurance, etc, I have time to kill waiting on the glass people to get here, so I thought hey what better way to try and cheer myself up than with a little retail therapy? Today also marks the 10th anniversary of my great-grandmother's passing... she was like a second mother to me, so today has been hard all around... However, shopping was one of her absolute favourite activities, so I feel like I'm honouring her memory well. 

But anyway, onto the fashion. 

The FLF list is chock full of awesome stuff that will surely make your day brighter. I've snagged FLF items from NYU, Fri.day, and Half-deer to put this cute outfit together. 

 

The Striped belted dress in autumn from NYU comes in all 5 standard sizes, although they are labeled funny. The dress works sort of with some mesh bodies, but is a no-go with others. I managed to get it to fit well enough for photos on Maitreya body, but it just would not work with my Belleza... but the dress itself certainly is lovely!

I've paired the dress with these great boots and socks from Fri.day! The Ingrid boots come in Ash, and 3 pairs of socks in wintery tones are included in the pack as well (i'm wearing 'oatmeal'). The boots themselves are unrigged, as well as the sock tops, and should fit just about everybody, but the socks in the pack are APPLIER ONLY! The pack does not include system layers unfortunately.


Finally, I've topped my outfit off with deals, and specials! My fun polar bear ears are a $L50 friday item from Half-deer, they come with and without lights, and my Doe hair, which is NEW and is currently available for a discount at the Chapter 4!Babbette comes in all of the standard colour packs, each one is on sale for $L99 right now, and you also get a HUD to change the bobby pins in the front! How cute is that?!

Hey guys! So, last Friday (the 7th!) was MY (RL) BIRTHDAY! Even Google wished me a happy birthday! Seriously, how adorable is that? I meant to get this post up sooner, but my computer thought that a critical hard drive failure was the PERFECT present!
I'm celebrating this occasion by getting myself a couple of things in SL that I've had my eye on, and COINCIDENTALLY, my birthday is on a FRIDAY, which means FLF goodies too!

I can never pass up Glam affair when they decided to do FLF, and this week was absolutely no different! For this round of FLF, Glam affair has a set of 2 skins out in multiple brow options, one skin is in the pearl tone and the other is in the asia tone. I was super excited about this combo because I own the whole set of appliers for both of those tones! *little squee!*

Next, I flopped on over to Fri.day and scooped up these oh-so-darling ankle boots. These are perfect for the autumn weather and the rapidly approaching winter! (and yes, I am floppy today, I'm sleeeeeeepy!)

and ending my FLF trip, I headed over to Junbug to grab their ballet slippers. I love the vintage red pair!

The first thing on my "HNNNNNG" list ( that's like a wishlist, but with more grabby hands, and drool on the keyboard) is the absolutely fan-freaking-tastic hair from Remarkable Oblivion at the Sad November fair. I could not go another day without the Hellcat red version of their Aviator Ace hat/Hair combo! I'm wearing it with black hair, but it also comes with blonde, red, brunette, white, and a great red.

The next thing, which managed to jump onto my list just today, took up pretty much all of my saved up birthday money, but I think it was definitely worth it... Today The Sugar Garden released a brand spanking new mesh head called Mizu (which is the Japanese word for water, in case you were wondering!). each of the normal head colours are $L3K, BUT, the Vampy skin tone (which I happen to LOVE!) is half price! I absolutely could not pass up the cutest mesh head I've seen to date for that price. The Mizu head comes with 15 facial expressions, 16 makeups (I'm wearing gogo), and multiple hair base/eyebrow colour options. I may seriously never take this off!

and finally, while I was at the sad November event grabbing the swoon-worthy Aviator Ace hat, I stopped over at Razor's booth and grabbed myself a copy of their Vacancy hoodie jacket. I've had my eye on it since it came out, and I thought what better time to grab it than right now?! The jacket is HUD texture change and the HUD has quite a few options, the package also includes both female AND male sizes, so if you like to gender swap like I do, then this will be great for you!
