Okay, not really, but I needed a title, didn't I? :P

So, today is Wednesday, and that means sales events!

My outfit has pieces from Dark Passions (for woeful Wednesday!) and Sn@tch (from their weekly Sn@tch-and-grab sale, which actually starts on Wednesday, but goes all week!) All of these items are on sale, so make sure to snatch these up!

The matching nails (which are available for both Slink and Maitreya!) can be found next to the vendor, and are on sale for 40% off right now!

Adorning my dainty feetses is a pair of Remarkable Oblivion's Phalanx Wedges in Black!

and finally, I topped my look off with Doe's new Cinnamon Roll hair! This hair is currently available at the Candy fair, and comes in all of the normal packs, BUT this hair is unique; the left and right sides are independently controllable, which gives you a TON of customization options! and on the tippy top of that is Cubic Cherry Kre-ations' offering for OMGacha, a {PLOMP} in one of the RARE colours, Bubblegum! Note that these are supposed to be rezzed, I assume, but it was too cute to not go on my head!

So, We <3 RP is well underway, and there are a multitude of wonderful designers with absolutely lovely products at the event, and all products are on sale, but only during the event! I grabbed a few of my favourite products from the event, and some accessories from Plastik and nails from Dark Passions, and put together a necromancer-inspired outfit that captures my "inner darkness"
I had a little too much fun with this shoot, and took far too many pics, so bear with me!


My absolutely gorgeous outfit is from Goth1c0, and is currently available at this round of We <3 RP at a 30% discount. The outfit comes in many colours, and includes both a black and grey skirt option. (NOTE: The outfit ONLY includes the top and skirt! The accessories are not included)


My pauldrons, cuffs, collar, necklace, rings, and earrings are all pieces of an outfit called "Amorie" from the Plastik. This outfit was out for $L50 friday a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not 100% sure if it's still available... However, my Necromancer crown, which is from Remarkable Oblivion, is definitely still available!


Lumae's We <3 RP skin for this month comes in 2 faces: adore and jewel, and 2 tones: saffron, and padma, which I'm wearing above. I've paired the skin with one of Loud Mouth's newest creations, Fiona, which works on their new HUD system. Fiona was previously released at Skin Fair, but like a dummy, I forgot to grab it back then! Fiona works beautifully with facial piercings, as the lips are a bit smaller than Loud Mouth's other models, and I think it might be one of my favourites to date! Lumae's skins always come with a multitude of options, and Lumiya has kindly included a chart to let you know exactly what you're getting with your lovely skin purchase!

The hair that I'm wearing in all of my photos is a new release from Doe, and is currently available (at a sale price!) for this round of We <3 RP. This stunningly different style, which reminded me of horns (or of that Power Rangers character Rita Repulsa!) comes in all of Doe's standard colour packs, PLUS the brand new NEON colour pack! Snag these at a discount while you can because after the event, they'll go back up in price!


I've finished off my outfit with the Dark Unicorn nails from Dark Passions. These wicked lovelies come in a bunch of colours, and are available for both Slink AND Maitreya! I'm pretty sure these are my favourite nails right now!

So, have you ever wondered what all of those strange, new-fangled acronyms that all of the kids are tossing around mean, I have a handy little guide for you:

YOLO = Youth obeying Lucifer's orders

Okay so, I'm obviously joking about the meanings of these, and you can find the source for them all over the internet, but wouldn't it be fun if all of these acronyms had meanings that were a little more... interesting... than they actually are? 

Kitten Spunk was thinking on the same wavelength and made a gacha of sweatshirts bearing these fun acronyms! I snagged a couple, including YOLO (one of the RARES!) and SWAG. I can't stand either of those sayings in their everyday form, but I looooove the alternate meanings, and these fun comfy sweaters are to die for; they're hilarious, silly, and definitely a conversation starter!


Ploom's newest release, Siri, (which jumped right up into my top 5 favourite hairs) is a messy style that features a cute small single braid in front, and covers half of your face. This lovely tousled style is on SALE right now at the My attic event! You can snag Siri for just $L95 per colour pack (more than half off regular price!) for the duration of this event! After the event ends, if Siri makes it to Ploom's main store, it will go right back up to normal price, so get it while it's on sale!


Finally, PixyStix has released the full set of no makeup (nude) Hera skins at last! Previously PixyStix has given out versions of Hera as gifts (STILL AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME!) as well as released the skin with various makeups, for various events, including Mystic realms, totally top shelf, cirque de seraphim, and more but it's finally out in the main store with no makeup!! On top of this fabulous new release, Pixy has revamped all of her appliers, included Omega, and added TMP appliers!! I absolutely adore how this skin looks on my face, as well as the flawless skin and soft pink lips, and I know it's going to look fabulous on you as well!

Hey guys! So, last Friday (the 7th!) was MY (RL) BIRTHDAY! Even Google wished me a happy birthday! Seriously, how adorable is that? I meant to get this post up sooner, but my computer thought that a critical hard drive failure was the PERFECT present!
I'm celebrating this occasion by getting myself a couple of things in SL that I've had my eye on, and COINCIDENTALLY, my birthday is on a FRIDAY, which means FLF goodies too!

I can never pass up Glam affair when they decided to do FLF, and this week was absolutely no different! For this round of FLF, Glam affair has a set of 2 skins out in multiple brow options, one skin is in the pearl tone and the other is in the asia tone. I was super excited about this combo because I own the whole set of appliers for both of those tones! *little squee!*

Next, I flopped on over to Fri.day and scooped up these oh-so-darling ankle boots. These are perfect for the autumn weather and the rapidly approaching winter! (and yes, I am floppy today, I'm sleeeeeeepy!)

and ending my FLF trip, I headed over to Junbug to grab their ballet slippers. I love the vintage red pair!

The first thing on my "HNNNNNG" list ( that's like a wishlist, but with more grabby hands, and drool on the keyboard) is the absolutely fan-freaking-tastic hair from Remarkable Oblivion at the Sad November fair. I could not go another day without the Hellcat red version of their Aviator Ace hat/Hair combo! I'm wearing it with black hair, but it also comes with blonde, red, brunette, white, and a great red.

The next thing, which managed to jump onto my list just today, took up pretty much all of my saved up birthday money, but I think it was definitely worth it... Today The Sugar Garden released a brand spanking new mesh head called Mizu (which is the Japanese word for water, in case you were wondering!). each of the normal head colours are $L3K, BUT, the Vampy skin tone (which I happen to LOVE!) is half price! I absolutely could not pass up the cutest mesh head I've seen to date for that price. The Mizu head comes with 15 facial expressions, 16 makeups (I'm wearing gogo), and multiple hair base/eyebrow colour options. I may seriously never take this off!

and finally, while I was at the sad November event grabbing the swoon-worthy Aviator Ace hat, I stopped over at Razor's booth and grabbed myself a copy of their Vacancy hoodie jacket. I've had my eye on it since it came out, and I thought what better time to grab it than right now?! The jacket is HUD texture change and the HUD has quite a few options, the package also includes both female AND male sizes, so if you like to gender swap like I do, then this will be great for you!

So, it's almost that time of year again... what? no, not christmas.... no... not halloween.... TWISTED HUNT! The twisted hunt is almost upon us once again, and I am waiting with baited breath. The hunt begins on the very first day of September and continues its perils throughout the entire month. 

Don't know anything about the hunt but want to do it anyway? Well buck up, sweetheart, because this is, without one singe doubt, the hardest hunt on the grid, and it's one that is certain to cause tears, shivers, flashbacks, loss of hair... and those little spinning boxes will surely haunt your nightmares for the entire month. The theme this time around is "Time warp" (n...no.... not that one...) which means that ANY and ALL past twisted hunt colours, palettes, and themes are fair game... time is only an illusion, after all.

I have been granted one designer's gift a bit early, and I have been bubbling with excitement to show it off. Songbird, stop #20 on this twisted hunt, has 2 gifts for your hunting pleasure: The first is the twisted time pendant which features a clock with hands that continually spin. The second, and inspiration for this post and my outfit, is a set of eyes... but not just ordinary eyes... each pair of eyes has a different set of textures from past twisted hunts! I've donned number 3, chartreuse, my favourite colour, and the colour of the third twisted hunt whose theme was "Strangebrew" to celebrate this time warp.

Adding to the "strange" is the Laveau necklace from Cubic cherry kre-ations, which is their item for the Voodoo themed round of the Fantasy collective! This pendant is named after Marie Laveau, a renowned practitioner of voodoo in Louisiana. It features a grammaton tetra and is a fantastic shade of chartreuse.

and topping off my twisted look is my dress from Violet Vixen. This strapless dress comes in a wide array of colours (Solar is shown in this post) and each dress is touch texture change with 7 different options to choose from, but also includes a download link for a .PSD so you can make your own as well! Finally, I'm using the "Sin" pose pack by Ploom, which they have out right now at District 5. All 6 of these poses are sexy, sultry, seductive, and are just perfect for giving into temptation

I have claimed the "Twisted survivor" title and tag in every single hunt to date, and I plan to add yet another spinning box of unholy evil to my wall of trophies... will you join me among the victorious, or will you succumb to the evils of the twisted hunt and become the next victim of the endgame? Why good morning you up-early-type-people! I have some great SL-related news, and some great un-related news... The completely un-related: The BF finally found a (pretty decently paying) job!! This means that the next few months are going to be hectic while we settle into the new routine, and then while we hopefully find a new place to live that's a bit closer to where he works... 

Now for the SL-related...

The fantasy room opens today, and I'm so excited to show off all of the gorgeous items available! The fantasy room, formerly known as the Gorean room, runs for the whole month, and features items that are all under $L100!! Today's fantasy? Lolita!

My lovely lolita-esque dress is for The fantasy room, and comes to us from Tiar! The pack also includes, although I'm not wearing them, a pair is cute leopard leggings, pearls for your neck, mouth, and wrists, and 2 different pairs of gloves! What a versatile outfit!

The beautiful rose crown I have atop my lovely head is another fantasy room item, but this time from Persefona! The crown comes in 3 different rose colours, black, red, white! Each crown is $L70, and includes not only the colour shown, but also an extra little surprise.

I've also mixed some items from this round of Fit for a princess into this outfit, namely my necklace and bracelet, which are from Frogstar, my nails, which are also from Frogstar, and this beautiful princess-y hair, which is this round's item from Calico!

Frogstar's pearl necklaces and bracelets actually come in a gacha! Each play is just $L25, and there are 14 items to win!

My nails, which are also from Frogstar, come in a fatpack of colours, and include both fingrenails AND toenails!

Finally, I have to gush just a bit over these because OMG! The Papillion headwings from Remarkable Oblivion are incredible. These are extremely highly detailed, fully mod for easy fitting (or different wear options!) and are MATERIALS-emabled. While you will be able to see these with just any old viewer, you will need a materials enabled viewer to see the beauty of the sunlight playing on them, and the subtle shine it creates. Fun fact about me: as much as I love butterflies in SL, i'm terrified of them IRL, and I'm not really sure why! Crazy, right?

So, this time of year, everything is all about hearts and flowers, love and mush... and that gets a bit tiring after a while... So I wanted something a bit darker today, to fight off all of the saccharin sweetness and heart-filled days.

The Boobies planet items from Pixystix more than meet my needs! This super sexy mesh dress comes with tangos appliers, but works just as well without them. I paired it with a few spikey accessories for that perfect "yes I'm sexy, now back off." look!

Her skin for the Be my busty valentine hunt compliments it perfectly! I love the luscious lips and bedroom eyes!
