The Skyclad Fashionista

Phwew, that title is a mouthfull, huh?! There's a new gacha event in town called "Catcha!". The event is full of a bunch of really cool designers, each with a gacha (or several!) that you can play, and try to collect the sets! I picked up some of the pieces from Deadly Nightshade's machine, and made a really interesting elven-neko look. There's tons more to see at the event, so be sure to check it out!
(Note: I meant to post this about 2 weeks ago, but for some reason my Maitreya body had a glitch and wouldn't load pieces! I didn't want to not use the lingerie  I had picked up, which was unfortunately Maitreya-only, so I waited. Glad I did, because I found an even more beautiful hair to use!)

Hey guys! So, if you didn't know already, I may or may not have a huge small addiction to mesh heads. I can't help it, they're so pretty. The newest craze on the market is the Genus Project heads, and I tried SO hard to not pick it up....but the baby face variant was just too cute... It's my duty as a blogger to have it....right?? At a cool $L5.5K, the price is nothing to shake a stick at, but it comes with pretty much everything you need, so it runs about half of the price of Catwa (when buying a new catwa head and the animation HUD). You do need to purchase an omega relay, which seems really silly to me for the price of the head itself, but at $L99, it's not too bad. All layers on the Genus head are omega-compatible, so all of your favourite omega skins and makeups should work, but with any omega heads, may not fit the shape perfectly. I grabbed the Saturday Sale (out early!) hair from Astrology (and checked out their moving sale!!!), the bodysuit lingerie from Tentacio, and just went to town playing with my new face.

 I grabbed 6 omega-friendly skins that I thought looked lovely on the head, I tried to be varied, but I do tend to go for skins that have a pretty similar "look" to them, and tend to stick to pale tones in general.

 I feel like I should probably write more but I'm currently quite sick, and this was fun but exhausting. Excuse me while I take a nap <3

Hey guys! The best day of the year is FINALLY here....it's.... MY BIRTHDAY!

If you've been following me for a bit, you know that every year on my birthday I go out and buy myself something I've had my eye on, but couldn't justify the cost of normally.... basically #TREATYOSELF! Hey guys! It's only February (almost March), but spring has sprung in my neck of the woods, and even here in SL, i've been wanting to shrug off the winter layers in favor of something lighter. I hit the $L25 tuesday list in search of something lovely and springy, and was certainly not disappointed! I've snagged a maxi dress from On a Lark and topped it off with hair from Besom, a gorgeous skin from Lumae at Genre, and jewelry from Maxi Gossamer!


My nails are a previous group gift from Dark Passions! The "Round & Round" nails come in maitreya, slink, and omega options, and the pack features 6 beautiful colour options. I'm wearing the one in the red box above.

Hey guys! It's almost valentines day, and the XOXO hunt is going on! This one is a little different from standard hunts; you go to each store on the list and say "XOXO" within chat range of the hunt sign! There's a 50/50 shot of getting the item, but you can try for each one every day until the hunt ends. Alternatively, if you don't want to wait, you can pay $L50 for each item. I manager to win a couple of gifts from the hunt, and wore them together with the group gift from PurpleMoon, and put together a gorgeous valentines outfit!


My gown is the current group gift from PurpleMoon, and just in time for valentines! There are also optional flexi prims that attach to the shoulder and hip, under the roses, but they were too large for my small frame, so I decided to wear the gown without them. Hey guys! This month's Luxe Box has just been released and it's gorgeous as always! I'm wearing a few gorgeous pieces from this month's box, as well as Lumae's skin from this round of Genre, and some beautiful nails from Dark Passions for LoveFest! This simple but lovely look basically came together as if by magic, I swear... Everything fell into place the moment I put it on, and now I don't want to change!

I'm rounding out my gorgeous mostly monochromatic look with the Reign Ribbon heels from the Luxe Box! These include sizes for Slink (regular and hourglass), Maitreya, and Belleza (all of them!!!), and the pack comes with HUDs that match both Reign colours AND blueberry colours! I seriously don't want to take these off!

The Showgirls skin from Lumae (for Genre - Burlesque) definitely feels like a throwback to the cheesecake/pinup days, and I absolutely adore it. It comes in tones 4, 5, 6 and 7, and while I DO wish it came a bit lighter (I usually only wear tones 1-3) I think it's fabulous! Lumiya has been incredibly generous and has done each tone as a full pack and included everything that normal packs do, but at just $L100 per tone for the duration of the event, these are an AMAZING steal!

The gorgeous blue makeup reminds me of the ocean, and matches my bikini beautifully! I normally prefer pale skins, but Lumae's tan skins are absolutely fantastic and lack the "spray tan" orange tone that a lot of tan skins on the market have

I put together this sexy look with pieces found in this week's round of FLF!

I grabbed deals from: Dead Dollz, Wasabi Pills, and Maxi Gossamer this week and put together a look that really turns heads!

This lace overlay dress is the FLF offering from Dead Dollz. It comes in a gorgeous shade of deep and muted purple, is maitreya-only, and includes both the dress you see above, and one that is a little bit less modest (and also includes a pair of panties for... just a touch of mystery?)

Check out this necklace from Maxi Gossamer for FLF! The necklace itself comes in 3 versions (one long two short) and can be switched to either gold or silver, and the beads can be changed to any of the 8 different bead colours. The hair I have on above is another FLF find, this time from Wasabi Pills! The Mackenzie hair comes in one exclusive colour pack for today only, and includes a regular and BOOBS version, for ladies with bountiful bosoms!

My kickass vintage-inspired nails are from Dark Passions, and are currently available at the Vintage Fair, which just opened today!  I adore all things sparrows, so the sparrow tattoo design is right up my alley!
