Hey guys! I'm SO excited about this post today! After months and months (years? it feels like eons!) of waiting, the female Belleza bodies finally got an absolutely incredible, HUGE update! For those of you who know me well, or know me inworld, my excitement will come as no surprise; the Belleza bodies are absolutely my favourite bodies on the grid, especially the Freya body! A very dear friend of mine bought me the pack of bodies when they were still sold in an all-in-one pack, and I just fell in love with Freya. They're all gorgeous, but nothing (in my mind) beats the lovely softness you can achieve with that body! But, enough about me! This brand new update introduces a whole slew of new features:

Hey guys! So, if you've been following me for more than a minute, you'll notice that my style when it comes to skins is fairly singular. I prefer pale, natural skins with no/minimal makeup. It's my style IRL, and it's what I tend to stick to in SL too. I got Stix' new skin Xuxa  in all of the tones, and the Chocolate tone especially caught my eye. It's not something I would normally wear, but the skintone was just so eye-catching that I knew I had to do a post featuring it.

Hey guys! So, If you haven't heard yet, SL is implementing a new system called PROJECT BENTO, which adds bones for fingers, facial movements/sliders, tails, and wings. The default SL viewer with bento support has been out for a while, but the firestorm BETA viewer with the capabilities was just released recently. (For more info, and download links, please join the Phoenix-Firestorm Preview group!). I'm a die-hard firestormer, so I've been holding off on bento-ing myself until the release of the beta viewer, but now that it's here, I grabbed the bento-enabled Kioko head from Akeruka (which is on SALE right now guys, along with all of their bento heads!! Get them while the sale is on), and the Bento-enabled hands from Vista Animations, and have been playing around with them pretty much non-stop!

Extended fingers and a smile! The Vista prohands come with a regular version, a bento version, 4 tester animations that are fun to play with (You can see Strawberry Singh test out all of them in her youtube video [HERE]). It also includes a HUD with tons of skin presets, 4 nail lengths, a skin-tinting thingie, 18 nail polishes, glove and tattoo layer toggles, and a dozen hand poses! Each nail can be polished individually, and your hands can move independently. I'm actually using the poses designed for bento use from Sari-Sari, there's 6 in the pack and they're super cute

Wiggly Fingers~! One thing to note is that these hands ARE still in beta, and one negative that i noticed is that the nails sink into the fingers a little bit in some poses. However, the creator has been really receptive to customer feedback, and all updates are included and FREE. Definitely try the demo to see if these are right for you. These DO fit mesh bodies!

So, if you've powered through my last post, you know that today I'm celebrating life! This post is dedicated to a few of my favourite things here in the digital world!

Firstly, I can never decide on a favourite skin maker, so I'll definitely be wearing different ones throughout the week. My top 3 (in no specific order) are: Lumae, Glam affair, and Pink fuel. I'm wearing Pink fuel's Doll v2 skin today on my Logo mesh head.

For eyes it's always a flat out tie between Ikon, and S0ng, but I'm wearing Ikon eyes right now. When it comes to jewelry, I don't wear a ton, and my collection is all over the place, with a few pieces from tons of stores, but as far as piercings go, Hebenon Vial is definitely my fave, although I'm not wearing any right now, but you'll see plenty of their piercings later in the week!

Hair? Doe (formerly ploom). Hands down. Every time. I have never found a hair store that I love more, or that fits my personal style better, than Doe. Their hairs are definitely some of the best on the grid, and the colour choices are amazing!


My top 3 favourite clothing stores (again in no specific order) are definitely: Sn@tch, Blueberry, and Adams, with a special shout-out to DV8, which will always hold a special place in my heart.


And last but definitely not least, my favourite shoe store is Reign! I only discovered Reign fairly recently, but since then I've purchased so darn many shoes from there that my inventory has skyrocketed! They do platforms, boots, flats, heels, pumps, sneakers, you name it, and with sizes for belleza, maitreya, slink, sometimes unrigged, and sometimes even for the TD body you really can't go wrong!


Finally, I saw someone recently do this on their blog, just a simple full-body shot on a simple background, with a list of store names along one edge. I thought it was a fantastic idea, so I snagged it!

So, one of my favourite days of the year has finally come... it's my REZDAY! Today marks the day 6 years ago when Skyler Glasswing came into being. I am filling this day with fun and friends, and treating myself to anything I want! Lucky for me that today is also Wednesday, which means brand new stuff at Sn@tch to treat myself to!

I mentioned to my partner how excited I was that Pink Fuel updated their Doll V2 skins to include logo/omega/belleza appliers, and mentioned that I planned to get it for myself for my rezday... and he went out of his way and bought it for me! He's wonderful :3

So, I'm going to try something a smidge different than I normally do. I've heard through the grapevine that stores prefer blogs that feature posts that aren't particularly... wordy... SO, for the next couple of posts, I plan to write a short blurb about my outfit, the events/stores it comes from, credits at the end, and then let the photos speak for themselves! ALSO, because I'm super slow, I just realized that I could use my flickr photos directly on blogger, like I was doing on wordpress, so I'll be doing that as well!

Go fish! Sn@tch's newest fishing outfit, Shake it off, consists of 22 pieces, including 5 pairs of system layer pants with omega and slink appliers, 5 tank tops, boots, jewelry, makeup, and more. (well, except for photos, and blogging, that is...)

My dead sexy tank top (hehe, get it?dead sexy? cuz of the skeleton.... okay i'll get out) is fresh from Goth1c0, and was originally released for Suicide Dollz, but is now currently available in their main store for those who missed the round (like me!)

The head I have on is actually a current GROUP GIFT from the Genesis Lab group! Genesis Lab makes really gorgeous mesh heads, and even though some are fairly expensive, others are a little more budget-friendly. Currently the group is $L250 to join, BUT you get 3 free mesh heads when you join... you just can't beat that! The sunny head originally comes in the cappuccino tone, but I'm wearing Lumae's new Fae skin with my head, which is available at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair!

The head also includes a HUD that changes details on the head like the brows, freckles, blush, lippie, and eyeshadow/liner, however the head DOES take all 2.0 appliers, including 3rd party ones (skins AND cosmetics!)!

REIGN is always my go-to spot for new shoes, and this time around is no different! I grabbed the Adley wedges when they were on sale for $L50 Friday, but I believe they're on sale in the main store for a regular price

I absolutely adore the rainbow glitter stripe on these nails from Dark Passions! These were originally from My Slink Obsession last month, but they can now be found in the main store too! The pack includes this style, several in purple, and styles with the strips going the opposite direction as well!

Okay, not really, but I needed a title, didn't I? :P

So, today is Wednesday, and that means sales events!

My outfit has pieces from Dark Passions (for woeful Wednesday!) and Sn@tch (from their weekly Sn@tch-and-grab sale, which actually starts on Wednesday, but goes all week!) All of these items are on sale, so make sure to snatch these up!

Note that these are supposed to be rezzed, I assume, but it was too cute to not go on my head!
