The Skyclad Fashionista

So, the Body Modification Expo is just about over, and that means that the exclusive items that can be found there will be GONE in just a few days! I regret that I didn't get there sooner, but I am very glad I managed to snag a few of my favourite exclusives. Loud Mouth's exclusive mouth, Giselle, is small and adorable, and their new tongues have the ability to take sexy to a new level, Hebenon Vial has absolutely gorgeous mesh piercings, The Forge has sexy nipple shields, Aitui's heart plug gauged ears were definitely a must-have for me, and Goth1c0 REALLY brought their A-game with the pierced wings I'm wearing. Body Mod Expo is definitely not an event you want to pass up. Finally, I topped off my gorgeous barely-there ensemble with Doe's brand new hair "Deer me!" Which is currently available at We <3 RP. This hair comes in all of the usual packs, each side can be changed independently, AND there's even a HUD for the antlers/horns! This hair has a fantastically wild feel to it that I adore!

So, Sn@tch's latest fishing outfit, The Revolution, has a bit of a post-apoc/military feel to it with all of the camo, the splash of blood, and the shredded tank. I used this as an opportunity to take photos at one of my favourite places!

The Revolution fishing outfit consists of 21 pieces including: 2 tank tops on multiple layers, with a buttload of appliers, a mesh sweater (NOT SHOWN) mesh camo pants, a mesh camo mini skirt, earrings, makeup (NOT SHOWN), wrist cuffs, and combat boots! Anything camo/military-inspired always pulls me way out of my comfort zone, but I really love the way my photos turned out!

Finally, the stunning heterochromatic (is that a word? it is now!) eyes that I'm sporting are another Leaf on the wind item, this time from Songbird. The London eyes are mesh eyeballs that are modifiable, so they can be moved, re-positioned, resized, rotated, etc to fit just about any avatar. The pack includes a HUD that changes each eye individually to any of the 6 colours (and 2 iris sizes!) that you'd like!

So the Christmas season is upon us once again, and another twisted Krissmuss is here to meet all of your gift-giving needs! Designers from all over the grid who have a bit of a twisted side band together to put out items that are perfect for the holiday, each item is no copy/trans for easy gifting, and is just $L100 or under. I've only snagged items from Songbird, Dirty Little Secrets, and Southpaw so far (I'll cover southpaw and DLS in another post!), but there are a ton of other designers that I'm looking forward to checking out before this event is over!

The first store on my Krissmuss list was Songbird, and I was pleasantly surprised to find something different from their norm out for this event. The holiday skull sweaters come in both male and female versions (sold separately for easy gifting!), and each comes in all of your standard sizes. These are great for someone who is looking for something non-standard to add to their winter wardrobe. In the sea of santas, snowflakes, reindeer and snowmen, it's refreshing to see another option, and shhhhh don't tell, but my partner is definitely going to find the male version of this sweater wrapped under the tree!

If you're looking for a Christmas-themed skin that's not over-the-top, then you'll want to make a point to visit Lumae's booth at the Winter trend fair (which ends on the 19th, so HURRY!). For Winter trend, Lumae has out 2 brand new skins; Star and Alaska, I'm wearing Star with the exclusive Deep cherry makeup above in tone 2 (my favourite!). Hey guys! With Halloween right around the corner, I hope you've got a great costume lined up, but just in case you don't, Sn@tch has you covered!

Sn@tch's newest set of fishing items is another "grab-bag" style set which consists of 4 full costumes broken down into 20 different pieces. Each includes relevant appliers, and some include shoes, makeup, jewelry, ALL of the things!

The first outfit, "Explorer" is pieces # 1-4 and includes the tank top, shorts, belt, socks, and applier HUD and is perfect for someone who's looking to get a little dirty this halloween. I've finished my costume off with my favourite pair of combat boots from Razor, and a neat spider necklace from Cubic cherry kre-ations, which is one of their gatcha commons for the creepy vs cute gacha festival!

Outfit 2, Hello, Nurse! (My personal favourite!) is a classic but oh-so-sexy nurse costume, complete with jewelry, hat, stockings, dress, gloves, and appliers (pieces 6-10). Warning: wearing this outfit may cause people to suddenly need medical attention! I added a bit of a darker twist to this outfit by just adding one simple item, Songbird's "Messy eater" bloody mouth overlay. I'm pretty sure that not many of my patients survive my.... "treatment". I finished off with my favourite pair of thigh-highs which are simply irresistible.

Third, "Thursday", which is comprised of pieces 12-15, would be great if you're looking to be a bit... creepy, and kooky, mysterious and spooky, or all together ooky. If you know what I mean. I've added a pair of Songbird's November socks, (which are out right now for this round of My Slink Obsession!) to my outfit because while the Thursday outfit DOES come with socks, they don't seem to have physique appliers, and I've been obsessed with my physique!

and finally, last but most certainly not least, pieces 17-20 make up the Vampirella outfit. This blood red set includes the full body latex suit, matching cuffs and collar, wings, and all kinds of appliers to augment that enticing form. I absolutely love how well Ni.ju's Oopy goopy halo and horns go with this outfit! These were originally out for sale at Mystic realms, however, now that the event has ended, they are available in the main store!

and finally, rounding out all of the fantastic that is my outfit, is my nails! Alaskametro recently released a ton of metallic accented nails (over 300 styles!!). I've accented my red and black outfit with a pair of red and gold nails from the Vamp pack. You can see which I've used in that little red circle on the HUD pic to my left. I am absolutely in love with these nails, and might just have to try some of these styles in real life!

P.s. I'm thinking of starting a food blog, I love to cook and bake, and I'd probably focus on nerdy recipes (things inspired by games, books, movies, etc...) along with my very own recipes right out of my brain meats! What do you guys think?

So, it's almost that time of year again... what? no, not christmas.... no... not halloween.... TWISTED HUNT! The twisted hunt is almost upon us once again, and I am waiting with baited breath. The hunt begins on the very first day of September and continues its perils throughout the entire month. 

Don't know anything about the hunt but want to do it anyway? Well buck up, sweetheart, because this is, without one singe doubt, the hardest hunt on the grid, and it's one that is certain to cause tears, shivers, flashbacks, loss of hair... and those little spinning boxes will surely haunt your nightmares for the entire month. The theme this time around is "Time warp" (n...no.... not that one...) which means that ANY and ALL past twisted hunt colours, palettes, and themes are fair game... time is only an illusion, after all.

I have been granted one designer's gift a bit early, and I have been bubbling with excitement to show it off. Songbird, stop #20 on this twisted hunt, has 2 gifts for your hunting pleasure: The first is the twisted time pendant which features a clock with hands that continually spin. The second, and inspiration for this post and my outfit, is a set of eyes... but not just ordinary eyes... each pair of eyes has a different set of textures from past twisted hunts! I've donned number 3, chartreuse, my favourite colour, and the colour of the third twisted hunt whose theme was "Strangebrew" to celebrate this time warp.

Adding to the "strange" is the Laveau necklace from Cubic cherry kre-ations, which is their item for the Voodoo themed round of the Fantasy collective! This pendant is named after Marie Laveau, a renowned practitioner of voodoo in Louisiana. It features a grammaton tetra and is a fantastic shade of chartreuse.

and topping off my twisted look is my dress from Violet Vixen. This strapless dress comes in a wide array of colours (Solar is shown in this post) and each dress is touch texture change with 7 different options to choose from, but also includes a download link for a .PSD so you can make your own as well! Finally, I'm using the "Sin" pose pack by Ploom, which they have out right now at District 5. All 6 of these poses are sexy, sultry, seductive, and are just perfect for giving into temptation
