The Skyclad Fashionista

Phwew, that title is a mouthfull, huh?! There's a new gacha event in town called "Catcha!". The event is full of a bunch of really cool designers, each with a gacha (or several!) that you can play, and try to collect the sets! I picked up some of the pieces from Deadly Nightshade's machine, and made a really interesting elven-neko look. There's tons more to see at the event, so be sure to check it out!
(Note: I meant to post this about 2 weeks ago, but for some reason my Maitreya body had a glitch and wouldn't load pieces! I didn't want to not use the lingerie  I had picked up, which was unfortunately Maitreya-only, so I waited. Glad I did, because I found an even more beautiful hair to use!)

Hey guys! So, if you didn't know already, I may or may not have a huge small addiction to mesh heads. I can't help it, they're so pretty. The newest craze on the market is the Genus Project heads, and I tried SO hard to not pick it up....but the baby face variant was just too cute... It's my duty as a blogger to have it....right?? At a cool $L5.5K, the price is nothing to shake a stick at, but it comes with pretty much everything you need, so it runs about half of the price of Catwa (when buying a new catwa head and the animation HUD). You do need to purchase an omega relay, which seems really silly to me for the price of the head itself, but at $L99, it's not too bad. All layers on the Genus head are omega-compatible, so all of your favourite omega skins and makeups should work, but with any omega heads, may not fit the shape perfectly. I grabbed the Saturday Sale (out early!) hair from Astrology (and checked out their moving sale!!!), the bodysuit lingerie from Tentacio, and just went to town playing with my new face.

 I grabbed 6 omega-friendly skins that I thought looked lovely on the head, I tried to be varied, but I do tend to go for skins that have a pretty similar "look" to them, and tend to stick to pale tones in general.

 I feel like I should probably write more but I'm currently quite sick, and this was fun but exhausting. Excuse me while I take a nap <3

Hey guys, it's Valentines Day, so I thought I would put together a look that falls into that theme this year! I make an adorable cherub, don't you think? Starting from the top, the hair I'm using is from Truth, and is the newest group gift! My dress is a new release from Caverna Obscura, and it includes sizes for Maitreya, physique, hourglass, altamura, all 3 belleza bodies, and TMP, but always try a demo! My golden bow (of love!) is a new release from Deadly Nightshade, and is currently out at the The Secret Affair! The bow not only includes a mini bento holding AO, (includes hold, walk, crouch, run, and aim animations) but it's functional as well! There's 3 types of bolts: single shot, triple shot, and death volley; which targets another avatar on sim and rains arrows down on them. How cool, right? On non-damage/non-push sims, the bolts are purely cosmetic. The shoes I'm wearing are actually the newest group gift from Reign! My wings are actually bento wings from lassitude & ennui . Due to internet circumstances, I can only take a gif, not a full video to show off the wings and bow right this moment, so you'll have to trust me that both items are gorgeous.

Hey guys! It's FINALLY October, and that means all of the Halloween and spoopy events have started! Despite being a little scaredy cat, I love this time of year. Gacha Guild has opens today and there's a whole ton of awesome goodies to play for! The whole event is gachas, but certain designers have a gift out as well! Kitten Spunk's "Horror sleepover" gacha is too cute not to play, even if you're a little scaredy like me! Hey guys! I'm finally back with a computer that (I hope) will not smoke/catch fire/critically fail in a month. I finally have my programs set back up (photoshop, blender, etc), just in time for $L50 Friday!! I tell you what, I haven't been so excited to blog in AGES, but since it's been months since I've had a working rig, I guess it makes sense, but I may have taken too many photos... But anyway...

My lingerie, stockings, and the lounger I'm perched on are all FLF items that are currently available today! The lounger from Brocante was an especially fantastic find, since even the ADULT version of it is on sale for $L50! That doesn't happen often, so I just had to snag it up. There's quite a few animations, and it's totally adorable to boot. The absolutely gorgeous lingerie from Mossu comes in sizes for Maitreya (shown), Belleza Freya and Isis, and Slink Hourglass, and the ruffles and lace combo just screams my name. Finally, my thigh highs are from Luxuria! The pack comes with 8 colours (black, white, red, purple, baby pink, and 3 different shades of nude!) and includes not only system layers, but also appliers for Omega, Slink, and Maitreya! That pretty much covers everyone, which is fantastic.

Hey guys! So, if you've been following me for more than a minute, you'll notice that my style when it comes to skins is fairly singular. I prefer pale, natural skins with no/minimal makeup. It's my style IRL, and it's what I tend to stick to in SL too. I got Stix' new skin Xuxa  in all of the tones, and the Chocolate tone especially caught my eye. It's not something I would normally wear, but the skintone was just so eye-catching that I knew I had to do a post featuring it.

Hey guys! So, with Paddy's day right around the corner. I wanted to show off this super cute green and white outfit that I grabbed for FREE from Pretty Little Thing! I saw a post featuring this outfit over on the FabFree blog [HERE] while I was scrolling through looking for furniture, and had to grab it and show it off too! This outfit features a nice mix of style and comfort, and features sizes for: Slink Physique, Hourglass, and Maitreya, I'm showing off the Hourglass size below. I've topped it off with a fun hair from Taketomi, which has quickly become my new favourite hair store, a necklace from Cynful, and some shoes from Reign! We didn't have to look too far for something, because {vincue} & Kibitz seemed to be thinking on our wavelength with their new Harty Gacha! We each put together outfits in our personal style with some of the pieces, and added on to them, of course!
