The Skyclad Fashionista: February 2017

Hey again! (I know, right? 2 posts in one day? woah.) I hadn't finished going through the $L25 Tuesday list for today when I posted my last post, but upon going through the rest of it, I found another lovely dress that I couldn't resist showing you guys! Paired with accessories from REIGN, nails from Dark Passions, and another (brand new!) skin from Lumae, this one is perfect if you're looking for something flirty!

My skin will actually be out tomorrow, March 1st at the Avenue event, which runs from the 1st through the 26th, but I thought I would give you guys a sneak peek a teeny tiny bit early. Yulia is a recent release from Lumae, and is a Lelutka applier! I'm wearing it on the new Stella Bento head, but it should work on most/all of Lelutka's heads. Hey guys! It's only February (almost March), but spring has sprung in my neck of the woods, and even here in SL, i've been wanting to shrug off the winter layers in favor of something lighter. I hit the $L25 tuesday list in search of something lovely and springy, and was certainly not disappointed! I've snagged a maxi dress from On a Lark and topped it off with hair from Besom, a gorgeous skin from Lumae at Genre, and jewelry from Maxi Gossamer!

My maxi sundress is a lovely piece from On a Lark. They generally specialize in RP/Gor-specific clothing, but a lot of their items are perfect for everyday use as well. I'm wearing the Jasmine dress in blush, but it also comes in QQ other shades! The pack includes sizes for: Maitreya, Physique, Hourglass, one "fitted" size, and the 5 standard sizes. (Sorry Belleza Freya-wearing beauties, there's no Freya size in the pack... BUT the dresses do fit the Venus and Isis bodies!)

This skin is currently out from Lumae at this month's round of Genre, which runs until March 15th! Ruby comes as a catwa applier in every standard tone, and was inspired by the character Lagertha in the show Vikings. The skins are $L100 for the duration of the event and the pack includes:

Hey guys! It's almost valentines day, and the XOXO hunt is going on! This one is a little different from standard hunts; you go to each store on the list and say "XOXO" within chat range of the hunt sign! There's a 50/50 shot of getting the item, but you can try for each one every day until the hunt ends. Alternatively, if you don't want to wait, you can pay $L50 for each item. I manager to win a couple of gifts from the hunt, and wore them together with the group gift from PurpleMoon, and put together a gorgeous valentines outfit!

My gown is the current group gift from PurpleMoon, and just in time for valentines! There are also optional flexi prims that attach to the shoulder and hip, under the roses, but they were too large for my small frame, so I decided to wear the gown without them. The gown includes standard as well as mesh body sizes, optional roses (shown), optional flexi prims (not shown) and gloves on both clothing layers, AND appliers! (not shown)

In other news, Feb. 10th was my rezday! To celebrate, I bought myself an expensive present I've had my eye on for ages... the Lelutka Stella 2.0 Bento head! With it, I'm wearing Lumae's Yulia skin, which comes in her full line of tones, includes 8 lippies in a wide range of colours to match any look. I'm also nibbling on the Heartbeat cookie from Fetch for the XOXO hunt! You get 3 colours, with and without the EKG hearbeat on them, for a total of 6 options!

Finally, I finished off the outfit with the sophisticated-yet-cute Hypnotic Hearts nails from Dark Passions!
